GAMSAT Sample Questions: Equivalent To The Real Test Format

If you have seen seriously preparing for GAMSAT, someone or other must have drilled home this simple point – there is just no substitute to practice.

Practice you must, but practice smartly. It is extremely important that you expose yourself to the right kind of questions, the right kind of test environment and the right kind of test pressure to get benefit out of practicing. Each of the world’s best known standardized tests, like GRE, GMAT, SAT, CAT, UMAT or GAMSAT have their own set of idiosyncrasies.  It will not help if you take a shot gun approach to preparing for all these tests. A focused, well planned and well directed preparation is key to success in these tests.

Just because GAMSAT has a science section does not mean you have to solve hundreds of science questions that you see at the end of each chapter in a science book. Also, just because GAMSAT has verbal reasoning section does not mean you can pick up a GRE preparatory course and equip yourself for the verbal section of GAMSAT. That is because, the attributes that are being checked by GAMSAT is entirely different from the set of attributes and skills that are evaluated by GRE.

So what you need is custom made GAMSAT sample questions, and truckloads of them. Collate as many GAMSAT sample questions as you can, break them up under smaller sets of 30 or 50 question sets, set up a time limit and train your mind to solve those questions under exact test conditions. The more GAMSAT sample questions you solve, the better your mind will be to face the mind numbing and half hours of stress on that D Day.
