LNAT: Important Facts
- You can sit for the LNAT only once between 1 September 2010 and 30 June 2011. If you sit the test twice, the later test sitting will be automatically invalidated.
- There is no pass mark as such for the LNAT.
- The LNAT- participating universities use the LNAT score according to their individual admission process. The LNAT score is considered along with other factors like A-levels, AS-levels, GCSE grades, your personal statement and in some cases, an interview.
- The LNAT essay is not evaluated with the MCQs. It is passed on unchecked to the universities you have applied to. They use it according to their admissions policy.
- You will not get your LNAT score immediately after you sit for the test. It will be emailed to you at the email address you submitted during the LNAT registration process. According to the LNAT Consortium website, “Candidates taking the LNAT before 15 January 2011 will receive their results on the 31 January 2011. Candidates taking the test after 15 January 2011 will receive results in early July 2011.”
