Did you know?
- You can sit for the UKCAT only once per year.
- You can use an onscreen basic calculator for UKCAT Subtest 2 (Quantitative reasoning).
- The non-cognitive analysis section of the UKCAT test is not scored. You are given a brief character assessment.
- There are over 150 UKCAT test centres in the UK alone.
- Disabled candidates can opt to sit for the UKCATSEN – Special Educational Needs (SEN) test, an alternative version of the UKCAT. The content and format of the test is the same as UKCAT, but the time limit is greater for those with special needs.
- In 2008 only about 9,000 of the total 21,000 applicants managed to get a berth in a UK med school.
