Prepgenie UKCAT Sample Test – Verbal Reasoning

A med exam staple – the verbal reasoning section is UKCAT Subtest 1. How adept are you in applying the ‘if…then’ approach? UKCAT Subtest 1 shall find out. A text passage is given followed by four MCQs based on it. Each MCQ comprises of a statement and three options: True, False, Can’t tell. You need to read the passage carefully. Using information provided in the passage (and ONLY that) verify if the statement is True, False or you cannot tell (as the data in the passage is not enough to reach a conclusion). The key to cracking this section is to religiously follow only what the passage tells. DO NOT let assumptions creep into your head while answering the questions.
